Product Description

The ABB RER103 is a bus connection module designed to interface RE500 devices with fiber-optic SPA, LON®, and IEC 60870-5-103 communication buses. It converts optical signals from the bus into RS-485 electrical signals and vice versa. This module plugs directly into the 9-pin D-type connector on the rear of RE500 devices and draws power from the host unit.
